I've been playing a bit with Google Earth and plotting my route. I've managed to plot a fairly accurate, yet low resolution map of my trip based on my journal entries ;). Old-link-that-doesn't-work-anymore.

EDIT 2015-08-16:

I've recently reconstructed the entire route by downloading GPS data for all the routes and merging them together. This new map is thus a pretty accurate reconstruction of my hiking trip, but lacks the parts where I got lost and lacks the last part from Rome to Assisi.
